My Dad thought there was no purpose to live after my Mother passed away…she was his everything. The assistants provided by Versatile Home Health Care are professional, knowledgeable and caring. Just as important, they are kind and compassionate human beings that significantly help his mental outlook and provide friendship and companionship daily. My Dad enjoys the friendship and trust that he has developed with his caregivers. He looks forward to Steve and Doris’ visits to chat and have tea. We also had Versatile install a stair lift to assist in going from the main floor to the basement. Good morning. I just wanted to send a note about my PSW Gail. She is a trustworthy, flexible, conscientious and hard working person that cares about doing a good job. Those characteristics seem to be inherent and it matters too that she do a good job, for herself, as she clearly takes pride in her work. I have found in all of my years of working with and supervising people, that those are rare qualities to possess. She is also a caring person that really wants to help her clients, respects that she is working in their home and wants to do things as the client wants them done. She is smart and offers suggestion where appropriate but has no ego in that regard. Her attention to detail is strong and she can work independently with minimal instruction. She is able to remain calm when I am stressed about an unrelated situation. She cares for my pets as I would, and I often find my pets requesting a pet from Gail and have walked into a room many times to find Gail talking to them while she works. She has a pleasant disposition and a positive attitude. I don’t sleep well and on the few occasions I have fallen asleep during Gail’s shift she adjusted the methods of accomplishing her tasks without disturbing me. I really appreciate that Gail is working with me and feel blessed to have not only a great PSW but a great person working in my home.
